Chandigarh JBT Teacher Exam Date & Admit Card 2025: The Chandigarh Education Department has announced a recruitment drive for 218 Junior Basic Teacher (JBT) posts in government schools across the city. The online application process will start from 07 August 2025, and the entire recruitment is expected to be completed within 3 to 4 months, with final appointments likely by December 2025.
This recruitment is part of a broader plan to fill 993 regular teacher vacancies in Chandigarh schools. The selection process will be based on a written examination, and the merit list will be prepared separately for each category. The written test will carry 150 marks, with minimum qualifying marks set at 40% for Unreserved (UR) candidates and 35% for reserved categories.
