India Post Skilled Artisan Recruitment 2026: The Office of the Senior Manager, Mail Motor Services (MMS), Kolkata, under India Post’s West Bengal Circle, has issued Notification No. MMG/36/Sk. Artisan/DR/II/95 dated 29 October 2026. The notice is a corrigendum to the earlier notification dated 19 May 2020 and concerns 19 Skilled Artisan/Tradesmen vacancies across seven trades: MV Mechanic, MV Electrician, Tyreman, Blacksmith, Painter, Upholsterer, and Carpenter & Joiner. These vacancies relate to the recruitment years 2015-16 to 2017-18. Eligible candidates must submit their applications through Speed Post on or before 30 November 2026, by 5:00 PM.
Candidates who applied under the 2018 or 2020 recruitment notifications will also be considered. However, submitting a fresh application with the preferred trade clearly mentioned is recommended. New candidates are also eligible to apply. The posts fall under Group C, Pay Level 2, with a salary scale of ₹19,900 to ₹63,200. Selection will be based on a Competitive Trade Test.
