JEE Mains 2024 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has unveiled the notification for the January 2024 session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains. Aspiring candidates are invited to apply for the JEE Main January 2024 Exam online via the websites jeemain.ntaonline.in or neemain.nta.ac.in, starting from November 1, 2023.
JEE (Main) consists of two papers. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) serves as the gateway for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E./B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded or recognized by participating State Governments. Additionally, it functions as an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is the entry point to the prestigious IITs. Paper 2, on the other hand, is conducted for admission to B.Arch and B.Planning courses across the country.
For the Academic Session 2024-25, it has been decided that JEE (Main) 2024 will be conducted in two sessions: Session 1 in January 2024 and Session 2 in April 2024.

JEE Main 2023 Age Limit
For appearing in the JEE (Main) – 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12 or equivalent examination in 2022, 2023, or appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) – 2024 examination. However, the candidates may be required to fulfill the age criteria of the Institute(s) to which they are desirous of taking admission.
Educational Qualification for JEE Mains 2024
For B.E/ B.Tech: Passed qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.
For B.Arch: 12th Pass with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
For B.Planning: 12th Pass with Mathematics
