- Educational Qualifications:

- Experience:
- Candidates should possess a minimum of 20 years of service in Group “A” or an equivalent position, showcasing strong technical expertise.
- Out of the total experience, a minimum of 5 years must be in the planning and construction of multidisciplinary railway projects. This includes experience in land acquisition, rehabilitation of affected persons/businesses, and the execution of Railway, Metro Rail, or Urban Transportation projects.
- Candidates should have extensive experience in preparing tenders, contract management, and project management for significant engineering structures, such as bridges and tunnels, involving both domestic and international vendors.
- Familiarity with coordination and interface with Railway/Metrorail/state Rail and State Governments in areas like Track, Signalling, Electrification, and Rolling Stock is required.
- Candidates must have experience in design and consultancy works related to Railway/Metrorail transport projects.
- Knowledge of Metro/Rail systems is an added advantage.
- Desirable Experience:
- Experience in Transit-Oriented Development (ToD) and Value Capture Financing (VCF).
- Familiarity with tunneling and underground rail-based structures.
- Knowledge of Track Systems for Railways and Metros.
- Experience across all phases of rail-based urban transportation projects under international bidding contracts (e.g., FIDIC contracts), including planning, bid documentation, bidding, land acquisition, rehabilitation and resettlement (R&R), execution, commissioning, post-commissioning, and arbitration.
- Understanding of project-related requirements from international funding institutions.
- Experience in preparing Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for new rail, metro, or Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridors.
