The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 notification, announcing 9,970 vacancies for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) across various Zonal Railways. Approved by the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, the recruitment will be conducted through a Centralized Employment Notification (CEN).

Aspiring candidates aiming to join Indian Railways as ALPs must fulfill the educational qualifications, age limits, and other eligibility criteria specified in the notification. The selection process will consist of a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification, and a Medical Examination.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The selection process includes four stages:

CBT 1 (Computer-Based Test 1) – Qualifying stage.
CBT 2 (Computer-Based Test 2) – Shortlisting candidates for CBAT.
CBAT (Computer-Based Aptitude Test) – Essential for inclusion in the final merit list.
Document Verification & Medical Examination – Final stage of selection.
