She completed her schooling in her hometown before moving to Kolkata for her undergraduate degree in Zoology from Kolkata University.
During her undergraduate years, she was steadfast in her determination to clear the UPSC exam. Her relentless commitment to her goal paid off in 2020, when she successfully cleared the UPSC Indian Forest Service Examination in her debut attempt. Consequently, she was appointed as an Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer, a coveted position, and was posted in her home state of West Bengal.
