UPSC CBI Assistant Programmer 2024 Eligibility

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 33 years for OBC candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/ orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. UPSC CBI Assistant Programmer Education Qualification:

(A) Master’s Degree in Computer Application or Computer Science or Master of Technology (with specialization in Computer Application) or Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology from a recognized University or Institute.

(B) (i) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application or Computer Science or Electronics or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University; and

(ii) Two years experience in electronic data processing work including experience of actual programming from a recognized institute or from Offices of Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Autonomous or Statutory organization or public sector undertakings or Universities or Recognized Research Institutes.

(C) (i) A Level diploma under the Department of Electronic Accredited Computer courses programme or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application offered under the University Programme: and

(ii) Three years experience of electronic data processing work including experience of actual programming from a recognized institute or from offices of Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Autonomous or Statutory organization or public sector undertakings or Universities or Recognized Research Institute.

DESIRABLE: Knowledge of programming in C, C Plus, Or Visual C plus plus and in Oracle, Relation Data Base Management System to Experience on RISC based Computer Systems under UNIX or UNIX like Operating Systems or WINDOWS Networking or Windows environment.
