UPSC CDS 1/2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (I) 2025, aimed at recruiting candidates for the esteemed defense academies, including the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA). A total of 457 vacancies are available across various courses starting in 2026. Unmarried male and female candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online from December 11, 2024, to January 1, 2025, by 06:00 pm.

To join India’s armed forces, candidates must first pass a competitive written exam, followed by an intelligence and personality test conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB). This recruitment drive offers an excellent opportunity to serve the nation in a prestigious and challenging role.
