The UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) is conducted in three challenging stages: prelims, mains, and interviews. This year, the preliminary exam was held on June 16, followed by the mains on September 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29. Candidates who successfully clear the mains will proceed to the interview and personality test, which is tentatively scheduled for January 2025.
The 2024 recruitment drive aims to fill over 1,000 vacancies across various prestigious services, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and other central services.
