The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has announced the recruitment process for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 8, 2025. Candidates who meet the required educational qualifications can apply online through the official website aiimsexams.ac.in before March 17, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS NORCET 8, 2025
To be eligible for NORCET 8, candidates must fulfill the following educational requirements:
- Option 1: B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council-recognized Institute or University.
- Option 2: B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute.
- Option 3: Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institution.
Additionally, candidates must be registered as Nurses & Midwives with the State/Indian Nursing Council. Those applying with a GNM diploma must also have at least two years of experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds.
Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years of age.
- Age relaxation will be applicable as per government norms.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the Computer-Based Test (CBT), which will be conducted in two stages:
- Stage 1 (Preliminary Exam) – April 12, 2025 (Saturday)
- Stage 2 (Mains Exam) – May 2, 2025 (Friday)
Application Fee
Candidates must pay the application fee as per their category:
- General/OBC – ₹3,000/-
- SC/ST/EWS – ₹2,400/-
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD) – Exempted from the fee
