SSC CHSL Result 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025. The Tier-I result was announced on 27 February 2026, followed by the Tier-II examination in April 2026. A total of 13,395 candidates submitted their option-cum-preferences online between 19 June and 25 June 2026. Based on their performance in Section-I and Section-II of Tier-II, 3,515 candidates have been provisionally recommended for Document Verification, subject to qualifying the CKT and Skill/Typing Tests. The notice also includes the cut-off marks for Section-III and Section-IV, tie-breaking rules, and details of candidates whose results or candidature have been affected. The results of 8 candidates have been withheld, the candidature of 1 candidate has been cancelled, and 12 candidates have been debarred.
The SSC has introduced a “Sliding Mechanism” for one round of reallocation to ensure that vacancies are filled to the maximum possible extent. Candidates who have been recommended must log in to the official SSC website between 20 August and 22 August 2026 to choose their venue, date, and time slot for the sliding process. The physical sliding process will be conducted at designated Regional Office cities from 1 September to 3 September 2026. Candidates who do not attend the process physically will be treated as absent and will not be considered for the final result. The Commission will also upload the final answer keys used for evaluation along with the detailed marks of selected and non-selected candidates on its official website in due course.

Candidates can follow the steps below to check the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Result 2025-26 from the official website:
- Visit the official website of SSC at www.ssc.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the “Result” option available at the top of the page.
- A new page will open. Select the SSC CHSL tab.
- Look for the notification titled: “Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025 (Tier 1 Result) – List of Candidates in Roll Number Order Provisionally Shortlisted for Tier 2 Exam.”
- Click on the link and download the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Result PDF.
- Open the PDF file and use Ctrl + F to search for your Name or Roll Number in the merit list.
- If shortlisted, save and keep a copy of the result PDF for future reference.
