Bihar STET 2026 Notification Released & Apply Online for State Teacher Eligibility Test
Bihar STET 2026 Notification: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the official notification for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026 under Advertisement No. PR. 183/2026. The exam will be conducted for Paper-I (Secondary) and Paper-II (Higher Secondary). Since Bihar STET is an eligibility test, the board has not announced any fixed number of vacancies. The Bihar STET 2026 notification was released on 14 August 2026. The online application process will begin on 17 August 2026 and candidates can submit their applications until 31 August 2026.

Age Limit Details
The age limit for Bihar STET 2026 will be applicable as per BSEB rules:
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 37 Years for Male candidates
- Maximum Age: 40 Years for Female candidates (UR) and BC/EBC Male & Female candidates
- Maximum Age: 42 Years for SC/ST Male & Female candidates
- Age Limit as on: 01 August 2026
- Age relaxation will be provided to eligible candidates as per the rules and regulations of the Bihar School Examination Board.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to complete the Bihar STET 2026 online application process:
- Visit the Bihar STET 2026 application portal at https://stetregistration.cbrt.co.in/.
- Complete the new registration by entering the required details.
- Verify the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
- Note down the User ID and Password generated after successful registration.
- Login to the portal and open the Bihar STET 2026 application form.
- Enter your personal, educational and other required details correctly.
- Upload your recent colour photograph and signature in the prescribed format and size.
- Upload the required educational, caste, domicile and other certificates, wherever applicable.
- Select the available online payment option and pay the prescribed examination fee.
- Click on Preview and carefully check all the information entered in the application form.
- If you find any mistake, make the necessary corrections before final submission.
- Click on Save/Submit to complete the application process.
- After successful submission, download and keep a printout/copy of the completed application form safely for future reference.
