Calicut University Recruitment 2024: The University of Calicut is inviting applications for the posts of Project Associate I and II under the DST-PURSE Project, coordinated by Dr. Abraham Joseph, Senior Professor in the Department of Chemistry. Eligible candidates can apply offline by submitting their application forms by November 6.

Vacancy Details

This recruitment drive aims to fill two Project Associate positions. Applicants from all categories are welcome, and reservations will be provided according to KS and SSR regulations and the Kerala Public Service Commission manual.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification:
  • Project Associate I & II: Candidates must hold a master’s degree in Chemistry or a relevant field from a recognized university and have at least two years of experience in the field. Preference will be given to candidates with National Eligibility Tests, GATE, or CSIR-UGC NET qualifications, especially those experienced in Organic Synthesis, Nanomaterials, or Electrocatalysis/Photocatalysis.
  • Age Limit: Candidates should not exceed 35 years of age, with age relaxations available for reserved categories.

Salary

  • Project Associate I: Rs. 31,000 + HRA (for NET or GATE-qualified candidates); Rs. 25,000 + HRA (for candidates meeting minimum qualifications).
  • Project Associate II: Rs. 35,000 + HRA.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a written test followed by a personal interview. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by email. They must cover their own expenses for attending the test and interview, as no TA/DA will be provided. Selected candidates are expected to join immediately.
