Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Canara Bank has released the official recruitment notification for the engagement of Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the financial year 2026-27. A total of 3,500 Apprentice vacancies have been announced across various States and Union Territories. The notification was released on 28 September 2026, and the online application process will begin on 01 October 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online until 17 October 2026.
The apprenticeship will be for a period of 12 months and will be offered at selected Canara Bank branches. During the training period, apprentices will receive a monthly stipend and gain practical work experience in banking operations. Before applying through the Canara Bank application portal, candidates must complete 100% profile registration on the NATS portal. Applicants should carefully check the eligibility criteria, state-wise local language requirements, important dates and other instructions before submitting their application.

Salary / Stipend Details
- Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹16,650 during the apprenticeship period. This amount includes any subsidy provided by the Government of India.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates for the apprenticeship will be based on the following stages:
- Preparation of a Merit List based on marks obtained in 12th Standard or Diploma.
- Local Language Test, unless the candidate has studied the required local language in 10th or 12th Standard.
- Document Verification.
- Medical Fitness Examination.

- First, register on the official NATS portal and complete the profile up to 100% to obtain the NATS Enrollment ID.
- Visit the official Canara Bank website and go to Careers → Recruitment to access the Apprentice registration link.
- Click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” and enter the required basic details along with the NATS Enrollment ID to generate the Provisional Registration Number and Password.
- Upload the required scanned documents, including the photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration, in the prescribed format and dimensions.
- Enter all required personal, educational and other details, including the preferred State and District, carefully.
- Pay the applicable application fee through the available online payment options, such as Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
- Check all the information entered in the application form carefully using the “SAVE AND NEXT” option and submit the application.
