Coal India Management Trainee Recruitment 2026: Coal India Limited (CIL) has issued the official notification (Advt. No. 03/2026) for the recruitment of 660 Management Trainees (MTs) in various disciplines under the E-1 Grade. The selection of candidates will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official Coal India website. The recruitment notification was released on 6 May 2026, and the online application process started on 12 May 2026. The last date to apply has been extended, and candidates can now submit their applications until 21 June 2026.

Coal India MT Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification

Engineering Disciplines: For Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Communication, and Industrial Engineering posts, candidates must have a degree in the relevant engineering discipline with at least 60% marks.
System: Candidates should have BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology, or a first-class degree with MCA.
Geology: Candidates must possess M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Geology, Applied Geology, Geophysics, or Applied Geophysics with minimum 60% marks.
Rajbhasha (Hindi): Candidates should have MA in Hindi with at least 60% marks and graduation with Hindi and English as main subjects with minimum 50% marks.
Company Secretary: Candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university or institute and should have Company Secretary qualification with Associate or Fellow Membership of ICSI.

Coal India MT Recruitment 2026 Salary Details

Selected candidates will be appointed as Management Trainees in E-1 Grade with a pay scale of ₹60,000 to ₹1,80,000 per month. During the training period, candidates will receive an initial basic pay of ₹60,000 per month.
After successful completion of one year of training and probation, candidates will be confirmed as Officers in the respective discipline. Along with basic pay, employees will also get Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Performance Related Pay (PRP), and other allowances.
The company will also provide benefits such as medical facilities, leave, gratuity, CMPF, pension scheme, and other benefits as per company rules. The total salary package may vary depending on the place of posting and performance of the employee and company.
