CPCL Junior Engineering Assistant Recruitment 2026: Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) has released the recruitment notification for Non-Executive Personnel posts under Advertisement No. 01 of 2026 – CPCL/HRD:03:055. The recruitment includes Junior Engineering Assistant-IV positions in Production, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines. Selection Process
The selection process will consist of the following stages:

Pay Scale
- Selected candidates will be appointed in the Non-Supervisory Cadre (Grade IV) under the IDA pay scale of ₹25,000–₹1,05,000, with a starting basic pay of ₹25,000. Appointment will be subject to the candidate being declared medically fit as per CPCL’s prescribed medical standards. Pay protection will not be provided under any circumstances.
- In addition to the basic salary, selected candidates will be eligible for benefits such as Dearness Allowance (DA), HRA/Self-Lease, Provident Fund (PF), Gratuity, LTC/LFA, medical expense reimbursement and superannuation benefits, as applicable under CPCL rules.
Post-Wise Educational Qualification
- Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production): Diploma in Chemical, Petroleum or Petrochemical Engineering, or B.Sc. in Chemistry, along with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Instrumentation): Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, or Electronics & Communication Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.
