Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2026 Notification Released & Apply Online

CTET September 2026 Notification: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the public notice for the 22nd edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2026. The examination was initially scheduled for 06 September 2026 for both Paper I and Paper II. The CTET September 2026 Notification was released on 11 May 2026, and the online application process was originally open from 11 May to 10 June 2026. The correction window was available from 15 to 18 June 2026. However, the CTET September 2026 written examination has been postponed. Following the postponement, CBSE has reopened the online application window from 25 August to 1 September 2026, allowing eligible candidates another opportunity to apply.

The CTET is conducted for candidates seeking eligibility to teach Classes 1 to 5 (Paper I) and Classes 6 to 8 (Paper II) in central government schools and other participating institutions. The examination will be conducted in 27 languages across 132 cities in India. Candidates interested in appearing for the CTET September 2026 examination should complete their applications within the revised deadline.
