Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027 Notification Released – Check Important Dates & Schedule
GATE Examination 2027: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has officially released the GATE 2027 Notification on 20 July 2026 for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027. The national-level examination will be conducted for 30 different test papers and provides opportunities for admission to postgraduate programmes and recruitment in various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The GATE 2027 online application process will begin on 2 September 2026, while the last date to submit the application form is 27 September 2026. The examination will be conducted on 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21 February 2027.
GATE 2027 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) to assess candidates’ understanding of subjects across Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, and Arts. IIT Madras, the organising institute, has introduced a new Robotics & Automation (RA) test paper and revised the syllabus for several existing papers. Candidates are advised to carefully read the official information brochure, eligibility criteria, and other instructions before submitting their online application for GATE 2027.
