ICG CGEPT Exam Date & Admit Card 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued an examination schedule notice on 2 November 2026, announcing the exam dates for the Coast Guard Enrolled Persons Test (CGEPT) for batches 01/2027 and 02/2027. As per the notice, the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) will be held on 17 and 18 November 2026.

Age Limit Details
The date of birth requirements vary according to the post and recruitment batch:
- Navik (GD) – 01/2027 & 02/2027 Batches: Candidates should be born between 1 November 2005 and 1 May 2009.
- Yantrik – 01/2027 Batch: Candidates should be born between 1 May 2005 and 1 May 2009.
- Navik (DB) – 02/2027 Batch: Candidates should be born between 1 November 2005 and 1 October 2009.
- Hygienist-I – 02/2027 Batch: Candidates should be born between 1 November 2002 and 1 October 2009.
- Age relaxation will be provided to eligible candidates as per the applicable rules.
Educational Qualification
- Navik (General Duty): 12th Class passed with Physics and Mathematics.
- Navik (Domestic Branch): 10th Class passed from a recognised board.
- Yantrik (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Yantrik (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Yantrik (Electronics): Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering.
- Hygienist-I: 10th Class passed, ITI or equivalent qualification.

Pay Scale Details
- Yantrik:
- Basic Pay: ₹29,200 (Pay Level-5)

- Navik (General Duty):
- Basic Pay: ₹21,700 (Pay Level-3)

Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted in multiple stages:
- Stage-I: Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
- Stage-II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Assessment and Adaptability Test, Document Verification and Initial Medical Examination
- Stage-III: Final Document Verification and Pre-Enrolment Medical Examination at INS Chilka
- Stage-IV: Verification and authentication of original documents with the concerned Boards/Universities
