- Q1. Can I apply for both Junior Assistant and Junior Technician posts?
- Yes. Candidates can apply for both posts, but they must submit a separate application form for each post.
- Q2. Are ITI-qualified candidates eligible for the Junior Technician post?
- Yes. Candidates with an ITI qualification in a relevant trade, such as CSE, IT, ECE, EE or Instrumentation, can apply for the Junior Technician post if they have at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Q3. Do government employees need to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) with the application?
- No. Submitting an NOC along with the application is not mandatory. However, candidates must submit an undertaking and provide the NOC during the selection process, unless their application has been forwarded through the proper channel. Candidates who fail to provide the required undertaking or NOC will not be allowed to attend the selection process. An advance copy of the application may also be sent within the prescribed deadline.
- Q4. How many candidates will be shortlisted for Part B of the examination?
- Candidates will be shortlisted post-wise. Seven candidates for the first post and subsequently five candidates for the vacant post or posts will be called for Part B and the Skill/Trade Tests, as specified in the recruitment notification.
- Q5. How recently must OBC and EWS certificates be issued?
- The OBC Non-Creamy Layer certificate or the EWS Income and Asset Certificate must be issued on or after 1 April 2026.
