Naval Ship Repair Yard Apprentice Recruitment 2026: The Naval Ship Repair Yard, Sri Vijaya Puram has released the official recruitment notification for the one-year Technician (Vocational) Apprentice Programme under the IT-03 Batch. The recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement No. NSRY(SVP)/IT03/26 for 50 apprentice vacancies across 13 ITI trades. Physical Standards and Medical Examination
- Candidates must meet the physical fitness standards prescribed under Rule 4 and Schedule II of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. Before enrolment, selected candidates will undergo a medical examination conducted by the Yard Medical Officer of Naval Ship Repair Yard, Sri Vijaya Puram.
- Candidates will also be required to submit a medical fitness certificate issued by a Government Hospital or Government Medical Officer.
Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted in the following stages:
- Shortlisting through a preliminary merit list based on 10th and ITI aggregate marks
- Interview/Trade Test carrying 50 marks
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
