PSSSB Jail Warder & Matron Recruitment 2026: The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has issued a short notification for the recruitment of Jail Warder and Matron posts under the Punjab Prisons Department (Advt. No. 08/2026). This recruitment will be carried out under the supervision of the Additional Director General of Police, Prisons, Punjab. According to the official notice, a total of 475 Warder (Male) and 57 Matron (Female) vacancies will be filled. The short notification was released on 28 March 2026.
