There is an important update for candidates preparing for the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) recruitment exam. The State Bank of India (SBI) has postponed the preliminary exam for the 2025 recruitment cycle. According to the latest announcement, the exam will now take place on March 8, 16, and 24, 2025. Earlier, it was scheduled for March 8 and 15, 2025.

The revised exam dates have been published on the official SBI website (sbi.co.in). Candidates can check the notification under the careers section.
The SBI PO preliminary exam will be conducted in an online format and will have 100 objective-type questions for a total of 100 marks. The paper will be divided into three sections:
- English Language
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning Ability
Candidates will have 60 minutes to complete the exam. Each correct answer will carry 1 mark, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response. There will be no penalty for unanswered questions.

SBI PO Admit Card and Recruitment Details
As of now, SBI has not announced the exact release date of the admit cards. However, they are expected to be available 3-4 days before the exam. Candidates must download their admit card from the official website, as entry to the exam hall will not be permitted without it.
The registration for SBI PO recruitment 2025 was conducted from December 27, 2024, to January 19, 2025. The recruitment drive aims to fill 600 vacancies for the post of Probationary Officer.
