SSC CGL Recruitment 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CGL 2026 Notification on 21 May 2026 at its official website, ssc.gov.in. The Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination is conducted to recruit eligible graduates for various Group B and Group C posts in central government ministries, departments, and organizations. It is one of the most sought-after government recruitment examinations in India.
The online application process was initially open from 21 May to 22 June 2026. However, SSC has reopened the application window for three days, from 23 June to 25 June 2026, giving another opportunity to candidates who could not apply earlier.
Candidates who possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the SSC CGL 2026 examination. The selection process consists of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Document Verification. Candidates who successfully clear all stages will be appointed to various central government posts, including Income Tax Inspector, Assistant Section Officer (ASO), Auditor, Tax Assistant, and several other prestigious positions.
