SSC JHT Answer Key 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the Tier-I answer key for the Combined Hindi Translators Examination (CHTE) 2026 on 21 September 2026. The recruitment covers various Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted posts, including Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Translation Officer (JTO), Senior Hindi Translator (SHT), and Senior Translation Officer (STO) in different Ministries and Departments of the Government of India. The SSC CHTE 2026 Tier-I examination was conducted on 8 September 2026, and candidates can now check the provisional answer key and their response sheets.
Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Hindi or English, with the other language as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level. In addition, candidates must have either:
A recognized diploma / certificate in translation (Hindi ↔ English) OR
2 to 3 years of translation experience in government offices, depending on the post.

JTO, JT, and JHT Posts: Pay Level-6 with salary ranging from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month.
STO and SHT Posts: Pay Level-7 with salary ranging from Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month.
