NTA UGC NET June 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the UGC NET June 2026 Notification. This is one of the most important examinations for candidates who want to become Assistant Professors or qualify for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in India. The exam is conducted at the national level to determine eligibility for teaching and research positions in universities and colleges.
According to the official notification, the complete process including application, examination, and result will be conducted online. The UGC NET June 2026 Notification was released on 29 April 2026. Online applications have started from 29 April 2026 and will continue till 20 May 2026. The UGC NET June 2026 examination will be conducted from 22 June to 30 June 2026.

NTA UGC NET June 2026 Selection Process
The result will be prepared on the basis of combined performance in both papers. Candidates will be placed in the following categories:
- JRF + Assistant Professor
- Assistant Professor + PhD Admission
- PhD Admission Only
For PhD admission, the UGC NET score will have 70% weightage, while the interview will carry 30% weightage.
