- Scientific Assistant/Lab Assistant (Physics): B.Sc. in Physics with Forensic Science and specialization in Nuclear Science/Instrumental Electronics, or B.Tech. in Instrumental, Electrical & Electronics, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Scientific Assistant/Lab Assistant (Chemistry): B.Sc. in Chemistry with Forensic Science and specialization in Biochemistry.
- Scientific Assistant/Lab Assistant (Computer Science): Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or ‘A’ Level Diploma from NIELIT.
