WCL Mining Sirdar & Assistant Foreman Answer Key 2026: Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), a Miniratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, has announced recruitment for regular appointments to the posts of Mining Sirdar and Assistant Foreman/Electrical Supervisor. Eligible Indian citizens were invited to apply online for these positions. The WCL Recruitment 2026 notification was released on 16 July 2026, and the online application process was open from 20 July to 10 August 2026.
WCL has now released the answer key for the Mining Sirdar and Assistant Foreman recruitment examination on 17 October 2026. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) was conducted on 14 October 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check the answer key and download their response sheet to review their answers and estimate their scores.
Age relaxation will be provided as per Government rules.

Candidates must possess a valid Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS, a valid Gas Testing Certificate, and a valid First Aid Certificate, along with 3 years of experience in underground mines. Alternatively, candidates with a Diploma in Mining Engineering, a valid Overman Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS, a Gas Testing Certificate, and a First Aid Certificate are also eligible.
Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a Government-recognized institute along with a valid Electrical Supervisory Certificate for Mines issued by the appropriate Government authority.
