WCL Mining Sirdar & Assistant Foreman Exam Date & Admit Card 2026: Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), a Miniratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, has issued a recruitment notification for regular appointments to the statutory posts of Mining Sirdar and Assistant Foreman/Electrical Supervisor. Eligible Indian citizens were invited to submit their applications online. The official WCL Recruitment 2026 notification was released on 16 July 2026, and the application process was open from 20 July to 10 August 2026. WCL has now released the admit card on 11 October 2026 for the Computer-Based Test (CBT), which is scheduled to be conducted on 14 October 2026.

Candidates must possess a valid Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS, a valid Gas Testing Certificate, and a valid First Aid Certificate, along with 3 years of experience in underground mines. Alternatively, candidates with a Diploma in Mining Engineering, a valid Overman Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS, a Gas Testing Certificate, and a First Aid Certificate are also eligible.
Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a Government-recognized institute along with a valid Electrical Supervisory Certificate for Mines issued by the appropriate Government authority.
