NTA UGC NET June 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the UGC NET June 2026 examination results. The UGC NET June 2026 exam was conducted to determine eligibility for Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and Ph.D. admission in various subjects.

The main examination was conducted from 22 June to 30 June 2026, while a re-examination was held on 5 July 2026. The main result and scorecards were released on 28 August 2026.

The UGC NET June 2026 Re-Exam Result has been declared on 18 September 2026. Candidates who appeared in the re-examination can now check their results and scorecards through the official NTA website. Successful candidates will proceed to the applicable next stages, including e-certificate issuance and counselling or verification, as per the prescribed process.

Passed / Appearing Master Degree in related subject with Gen / EWS: 55% Marks and OBC / SC / ST / Third Gender: 50% Marks. Candidates with 4-Year Bachelor Degree are also eligible.

NTA UGC NET June 2026 Selection Process

The result will be prepared on the basis of combined performance in both papers. Candidates will be placed in the following categories:

JRF + Assistant Professor
Assistant Professor + PhD Admission
PhD Admission Only

For PhD admission, the UGC NET score will have 70% weightage, while the interview will carry 30% weightage.
