NTA UGC NET June 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET June 2026 examination results for candidates who appeared for the national-level eligibility test. The examination was conducted for determining eligibility for Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and Ph.D. admission in various subjects.
The UGC NET June 2026 examination was conducted from 22 June to 30 June 2026. A re-examination was also held on 5 July 2026 for certain candidates. The main UGC NET June 2026 Result and scorecards were released on 28 August 2026.
The UGC NET June 2026 Re-Exam Result was subsequently released on 18 September 2026. Candidates who qualified in the examination can now proceed with the certificate-related process.
The UGC NET June 2026 Certificate has been released by the NTA on 24 September 2026. Eligible candidates can download their e-certificates through the official online portal using their login details.

NTA UGC NET June 2026 Selection Process
The result will be prepared on the basis of combined performance in both papers. Candidates will be placed in the following categories:
- JRF + Assistant Professor
- Assistant Professor + PhD Admission
- PhD Admission Only
For PhD admission, the UGC NET score will have 70% weightage, while the interview will carry 30% weightage.
